Vehicle guidance is a powerful management tool that optimizes mobility inside a parking facility, giving users the information they need to park and find their vehicle quickly and effectively. For parking operators, it's an excellent tool for customer loyalty, reducing carbon-monoxide pollution and optimizing facility occupancy. The PGS ParkHelp system operates through a network of ultrasonic sensors, one per parking space, mounted exactly at the center of each spot with a quick, simple installation. Using ultrasonic detection, each sensor detects the presence or absence of a vehicle and reports the space status (free or occupied) to the system's higher-level devices. Through a built-in LED light, each sensor shows green if the space is free or red if occupied, and it can also locate a vehicle by its plate. This information is available to users via outdoor screen-equipped totems located throughout the facility.
