The deposit cassette stores validated bills and barcode coupons, keeping them in a stacked formation. This cassette has a stacking mechanism and comes with a plastic lock. Users are advised to replace this lock with a 3/4" tubular metal lock. Users can choose to install one or two locks for extra security. A locking mechanism allows installation of user security locks (specifically one or two 3/4" tubular locks measuring 11/16"±1/16" or 1 1/8"±1/16"). Deposit cassette capacity is 1000 bills. Low-quality (street-grade) bills take up more space, which can reduce total capacity. The cassette comes with a folding handle, but if space inside the machine is limited, a premium deposit cassette without a handle can be requested. The cassette can store bills 62–82 mm wide and 140–172 mm long. For bills 125–150 mm long, a modified deposit cassette can be requested. However, if accepted bills range from 125–172 mm long, the cassette designed for the 140–172 mm range should be used.
